Terms of service

All invoices including collection and inspection serviceS are subject to VAT

  1. All vehicles are left at customer’s own risk.
    The customer must ensure appropriate insurance is in place at all times whilst repair/restoration work is undertaken as NO liability will be accepted for any loss or damage to customers’ vehicles, however caused.

  2. New Coachworks Ltd does not accept any responsibility for personal items left in the vehicles whilst repairs are carried out.

  3. Estimates supplied by New Coachworks Ltd are valid for 60 days.

  4. Due to the comprehensive nature of the restoration process, it is difficult to determine an exact estimation as often there can be unforeseen works found we cannot initially account for.

  5. Any additional work requested by the customer during or on completion of the restoration not included in the original estimate will be subject to charge.

  6. Any deposit agreed must be paid prior to work being undertaken on any repair/restoration.

  7. During the lifetime of the project, stage payments will be requested – failure to settle these payments will result in the project being halted, and, if after a 4 week period, payment has not been made, an additional storage charge will be applied @ £20 per day – if, after 8 weeks payment has still not been mede, the vehicle will be moved to a secure storage unit and the vehicle will be relegated to the back of the queue for restoration.

  8. New Coachworks Ltd uses quality products and sealants to assist in postponing corrosion issues – New Coachworks Ltd, under no circumstances, offers any warranty/guarantee nor accepts responsibility for future corrosion.

  9. The customer understands classic car restoration is a timely process New Coachworks Ltd cannot be held liable for delays if this would compromise the quality of work.

  10. It is strict company policy that once all works have been completed and before the vehicle leaves the premises, any amounts outstanding are to be settled in full – all invoices are subject to VAT at 20%

  11. If, after one month of completion of the works, the vehicle has not been collected, New Coachworks Ltd reserves the right to charge a storage fee of £20 per day.

  12. If, after six months, New Coachworks Ltd having made every attempt to contact the owner to no avail, New Coachworks Ltd will place a lien on the vehicle and take the necesary steps tonrecover losses without further reference.

NEW COACHWORKS LTD RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR AMEND AS AND WHEN APPROPRIATE.
